What kind of material is "dry grip" anyway? Is it a rough rubber? I want to try to recreate it with plasti-dip

Roccat Savu has a nice coating. I got mine for 30$ shipped.

It's also one of the most accurate sensor on the market, and you can change the color of the LED.

The size and grip is similar to the G9X.

I considered the Savu, but it only seems to have certain DPI presets. I'm okay with DPI between 2200 to say 2800.

I'm pretty sure that you can change the DPI to whatever you want. I use mine at 800 though.

Looks like you cant. If you want 2000 you could alway set it to 4000 then play with the sensitivity. It's a shame though.

Yeah... Savu's just not working for me. Besides I already placed an order on the G9x. On a side note. Are there any decent gaming mice for around $15 or less? I want to get something that I can mod and experiment on, and then test in a real scenario. So it has to be usable

Your best bet would be a used WMO.

400 DPI? I still want something that's close to 2000, like a cheap gaming mouse.

Cheapest I could find, it looks like a DA clone.

For about $30 you can get an A4 tech v7, seems worth messing with.
