yeah it's a NZXT Sentry mix and a Lamptron FC9...going to have push and pull
on my RX360 ..so far just push config. for my 480 Monsta but thinking of adding pull on it also.
wanted to make sure I had enough places to connect all my fans including a couple intake and/or exaust
fans for the case itself.
much appreciated thumb.gif
I've been taking my time with this build so I've just been slowly taking stuff apart and
painting it at my own pace..
i'm looking to finish real soon though..only thing left is to buy my GTX titan (within 2 weeks).
Already bought my Koolance Waterblock for it yesterday so i'm committed now..lol.
also just have to finish a layer of top coat on a couple more pieces then i'll be slapping it all
together probally this Friday..everything except my gpu..

How many titans are you going to have? One or two? Also it's good that you bought those blocks, really, those things go out of production quick as hell. Can't wait to see the final product, keep it up!

I ordered just one for now..was hoping the 700 series was going to be realesed in the next 2 months but I don't think so now.
seems more like ending quarter of this year. so i'll get one for now and if the 700 series doesn't come out
in a few months i'm going to double it up. plus financially it's hard to fit that in when the other half is
questioning the first one lol
and i'm probally putting majority of it together today.. not sure if you seen but I have an
aluminum square tubing that i'm using as an extension so that I can fit/hide my 480 monsta
on the top of my case(as if the case wasn't big enough lol.hope it doesn't look silly)
..might just replace that with an acrylic design i'm thinking of. mix of clear and frosted blue
acrylic sheets with leds..but every time I get overly ambitious I delay my build that much longer
lol..I kinda just want to finish.. you think that pic where I have the bar just sitting on the comp makes
the build look silly/ is it out of place?.. I still have to sand it with 1500 and 2000 grit to get it to a nice shine
so it's kinda dull in the pic I have posted.just want a second opinion.. thumb.gif

I'm going to be doing some similar painting with my next build soon including that same motherboard. I hadn't seen anyone else doing this and thought I'd be the first. Lol, I guess you beat me to it. I don't know why this board doesn't have more modder's attention for this reason. Great canvas to work with. Someone really talented could even put some actual artwork on there. I did wonder, did you do anything special when you painted the rubber grommets in your case? I'm looking at doing the same thing, but I was worried about the wear on the paint since they are so flexible.

trial and error for me lol..
for the rubber grommets I used first to prime

then I used 2 coats of "Createx Wicked Blue Pearl"
if you airbrush and want more "versatility" (if that's a word lol) use the wicked
version of createx's line of paints.
then I used 2 coats of "Createx Gloss Top Coat"
didn't really know how it would turn out but just said the hell with it.lol
turned out pretty good..if you prime them though watch out.. primer will
not dry all the way or 100% (99% but that 1% will take on your fingerprints)
I learned the hard way and had to re-do...not sure if you have an airbrush but
that's what I used for pretty much everything.
my white is Opaque Intense white...was going to go with Wicked pearl white but
didn't turn out the way I thought / wanted.
i'll def have to check back with your build.. when are you starting it roughly?
oh and if you search "asus sabertooth airbrushed" in google images you can see a couple other
people that have (slim to none though). there is a cool one that is green and black and a solid
copper looking one that is cool).

Should hopefully be starting next month. I wish I had the compressor, guns, and other equipment to do some good sprayed paint, but I'll probably just be using some automotive spray cans. Dupli-color has a vinyl and fabric paint that I think I'll be using for my grommets. I've been testing it on some spare rubber window molding to see how it works. Looks like I'll need a few coats to cover the black but it should work. They only have a few colors in that line though, so it wouldn't work for you anyway.

Keep up the modding. I'm sure it will be the "genisis" of that cases mod life on OCN. LOL

I never asked, are you keeping the inverted layout?? Or are you gonna go to standard?

so started putting it together. have to finish painting PSU (giving me
he hardest time trying to get everything off so I can prime and paint
just the casing of it.)
so the first pic I just wanted to see how my pump and res would roughly look inside of it
