Fitting question

I'm looking at getting a water chiller block that comes with inbuilt 3/8" fittings but in my system I want to run 1/2" tubing. My question is, is there an adapter you can get for the male 3/8" barb to 1/2" or will i be stuck using a couple pieces of tubing with an adapter in there?

Just get a.fitting fot both your 1/2 tubng and an other fitting for a short piece of 3/8 tubing and you connect them with a female/female fitting. Understand what I mean? I dont know if it's clear

thanks for the help. I just assumed (for some reason) those reducers were meant for use in tubes and not for barb to tube.
