The fact that we now have a large chance of not advancing and they may actually advance even after losing convincingly to us twice is disappointing.

why do you think we had to rematch you?

you guys started subbed and subbed again without your registered roster or substitute rosters.

During the rematch, you did exactly the same thing. (your team was not registered for the tourny) Anyways, i mentioned this to the admin before the match. Decision was based on him.

edit: we only played both times, cuz you said admin approved your substitute. ***?

  1. Your team's first match against Lunch Buddies you had two substitutes approved. You used only one and brought in two players who up until that point had never been mentioned. This, in and of itself, made the results completely invalid. It was also against our rules regarding ringers and could have resulted in immediate disqualification. Instead we gave you the option of rescheduling.
  2. Both teams couldn't find a time that worked for Friday so you guys played on Saturday.
  3. Your captain finally reported a roster on Saturday afternoon. It was 7 players large. No other team has a roster 7 players in size, at all. It's not even allowed. Notably, it wasn't even the same players he used in the original matchup.

Basically, you guys have been abusing the substitution system. It wasn't intended to be used the way you guys have been using it. Your team is not the only team which has had roster troubles, but your team is the only team which has taken significant liberties well beyond what we've set forth in the rules. It's not fair to other teams and, to be entirely frank, you're lucky we haven't given you guys a disqualification because there are people calling for it because they didn't get the chances UC Tanks has had.

Plain and simple: Lunch Buddies followed the rules for this matchup. Your team did not. The forfeit win is on their side.

Sooo, I was just looking at the brackets, and noticed there are teams from rounds 1/2/3/4/6 that haven't played yet. Are they going to be automatic losses for both teams? It states that reschedules can only take place the day before or after the match and it has been 4-5 days since those matches have been played. I figured if there was no contact by either team in the due time frame, it would be an automatic loss or something.

If it's 48 hours past the latest a game could have been played we won't be accepting match reports.
