Windows 8 no longer boots

Thread Starter
So I was having a lan at my friends house on Sunday. My computer was working perfectly fine when i was there and i did a normal shutdown. When i got home i set my pc up and when i turned it on windows would no longer load and it fails to repair itself.

I am then faced with some options

None of the options get me any further.

So today I tried my Windows 8 disc to repair it from there and that repair also fails.

Next i tried some of the recovery options. When i tried refresh your pc (keep files and some programs option) i get an error saying my drive is locked and needs to be unlocked.

I found this thread on a windows 8 forum. Someone else had pretty much the same problem but no one there had a solution frown.gifhttp://www.eightforums.com/installation-setup/14698-cant-boot-into-windows-8-hard-drive-locked-cant-refresh.html
Any ideas from here before attempting a full reinstall of windows? SSD failure?
