Never play and Tomb Raider games in the past. Was a big fan of Crysis 1. Tomb Raider just blows Crysis 3 in every single way. Crysis 3 graphics are good for a very short level and a very shot game. On top of that the story is average at best while Tomb Raider is actually very fun and interesting and not short.

Crysis 3 is poorly optimized for Intel(It is an AMD Evolved game after all).

Near 100% utilization on AMD's quad cores, but only 72-84%(w/0-27% for the logical threads) on Intel's quad cores.

The hexa-cores are the same case: 41-53% utilization for the 3930k's hardware threads(0-26% for the logical threads). The FX 6300 saw 78-98% utilization between all cores.

Its comical to see people draw conclusions from this when developers do flag for certain hardware(which cripples others). Instead of claiming victory for your particular bias, everyone should be promoting parity so that everyone's experience is as good as possible.

You certainly don't expect a piledriver hexa to have the same kind of utilization between all cores an SB-E has-the latter is much more powerful. What this graph suggests is that the game could use hyperthreading more effectively. It otherwise stretches real cores just fine. Hyperthreading is a strange beast though-most benchies saw the i7s clearly beating similar i5s but I remember a report from the german site that said at some parts HT causes issues. So what gives?

Damned, can I buy your system? I have always wanted to start a cake shop. If I'd known Intel machines can make whipped cream I'd have bought that over this AMD one. My next system will definitely be an Intel hexacore one, running at least 5GHz. Biscuits, cookies and cakes here I come!

Maybe it can be oc'd to 5Ghz on air like sandy bridge? It will be worth it if it does.
