Its not RAM speed that matters... its IMC speed

Which has been shown to not make a difference for IB and SB, and I doubt that will change much with Haswell.

For IB and SB the IMC is locked 1:1 with CPU multi

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/551?vs=552

Why even bother going high end in the future if this suffices for you.
Yet how you manage I do no know!

If Haswell comes with ddr3 instead of ddr4 support I'm going to laugh my balls of biggrin.gif (since I already know that the MC segment Brickland will have both since it spawns ivy as well, kinda reminds me of that old amd am3 board by asrock which supported both ddr2 and ddr3)

get your balls laughing then.. no DDR4 support was confirmed a long while ago.

I will buy Haswell only if:

-it overclocks to 5Ghz
-it comes with DDR4
-it stays under 70-75c @ 5Ghz
-it's at least 10% faster than the 3770K in games/3D rendering
-it makes me a sandwich (this is bonus but it's not required).
