Hello there OCN members!
I've recently started working on modding my BitFenix Shinobi and thought it follow the lead of a good friend of mine and start a build log on here. smile.gif

Current Mod list:
Stealth Optical Drive. Complete!
Replace acrylic in side panel window. Complete!
Paint I/O shields for mobo, gfx card, wifi card and PCI brackets black. Complete!
Paint mesh strips on top and front of case blue. Complete!
Paint I/O surround panel blue. Complete!
Install LED's in back panel to allow for easier setting up in dark rooms Complete!
Paint optical drive, Complete!

Paint motherboard tray blue. Possible later mod.

Specs are not the greatest...

Intel i5-3550
Gigabyte HD 7850 2GB OC version
ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP Motherboard.
8GB Kingston HyperX RAM @1600MHz
OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD
WD Blue 1TB
Antec 550W power supply.

Im disappointed that I didn't get a 3570K and a Z77 motherboard for overclocking, but I didn't have the budget at the time.

Good work on the stealth optical drive. My fav thing about this case is the easily removable meshes which you can paint too.

UPDATE 22/4/13

Over the past couple of days, ive started the painting, only to start finding problems: The blue I picked was way too dark, and just looked black on the mesh.

Ive also painted the PCI brackets, as well as the I/O shield for the motherboard, these have turned out really nice:






I have also removed the "I/O Surround plate" (for lack of a better name) ready for painting, with the new choice of lighter blue...



I hate drilling out rivets....

UPDATE 26/4/13

At this point my mods are pretty much finished, everything is painted, and system is re-assembled and functional. apart from one of my fans, which destroyed itself when I turned the PC on again, and cracked down the middle of the fan hub.

Are you thinking of painting the case badge at all or leaving it silver? Also if you are going to paint your mobo tray, will you be doing it the same blue as the strips? or a different accent color?
