I use Open Hardware Monitor.
With it I can see temp and stuff on my nexus 7 by running the remote access, good while you are in game (since afterburner doesn't show cpu temp tongue.gif)

edit: damn, second time today someone answer faster than me with the same thing biggrin.gif

CPUID HWMonitor (nonPro). If I recall correctly difference is, free version can't log temps. You can always check temps in programs such as AIDA64, or run several programs for cpu, gpu etc. specifically. But I haven't heard of a better one AIO than the afformentioned. It's pretty easy, light.. wish just I could turn off monitoring for certain things though.

EDIT: Well just looked at "pro" feature... it's

Remote Monitoring
Watch the sensors of one or several distant PCs through a simple TCP/IP connection.

Graph Generator
Save monitoring data and generate logging graphs as bitmap files.

Improved Interface
Sensors in system tray, editable sensors labels …

PWM Control
Fan PWM control (for ESA compliant devices).

So... yeah. Still does the job.

I use Open Hardware Monitor almost exclusively. Its free, there is no "pro" version or pressure to buy anything for "full functionality".

"best" is hard to label on this kind of software. If your looking for the most advanced, customization, option filled monitoring program you should check out aida64, Its the successor to Everest. When paired with a program like MSI AfterBurner/EVGA Precision(Use MSI for the love of god...) You have a full range of options, way's to display information and all kinds of other stuff.

How do you check the temps on your phone? I tried to view the server by typing the ip into my phone (google chrome for the browser), but it just loads forever. It is working on my pc though

It didn't work at first, you have to open the port in windows firewall.
To do so, go in the control panel, then windows firewall, advanced parameters and add the port (8085 by default) and it should be okay. You can also try by disabling it.
