Ram overclocking slows down wireless internet.

Thread Starter
My PC Spec:
i7 3770K OC'D to 4.5
GSKILL Trident X PC19200 2x8GB 16GTX 2400 MHZ
Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H
Corsair AX860i Platinum

Here's what i change in bios:
Multiplier= 45
VCore= 1.26
VCore LLC= Turbo
XMP= Profile 1

All others are default.

If I left the ram at stock speed (1333 MHz) my internet speed is normal (around 390-450 KB/s). But once I overclock it with XMP, it drops down to 30-60 KB/s.

What could be the problem here? mad.gif

Maybe it messes up the timings? Which throws the rate of wifi data transfer off?

Have you ran any stability tests on memory? .. such as HCI Memtest, for example

I've run Prime95 Blend and also 3DMark11 Physics Test. They ran flawlessly.

BTW sorry for replying late. tongue.gif
