dt880 already broken after 2 months

Thread Starter
So after being extremeley happy with my dt880s, they have already broken. The right headphone is about 80% the volume of the left, and to aid it i have to turn the right headphone to about 85 on ny xonar stx and leave the left at about 70. I called the place i purchased them from, ( canada computers) and theyare not willing to service them or replace them because they are not a beyerdynamic dealer, they are a reseller, whereas in the warranty book of the headphones it clearly states to return them to the place you purchased then from egardless if they are a dealer or whatever. I tried to call beyer directly, andthey are not oicking uo the phone. Now i have to find a way to contact them, or find a place that is a registered beyerdynamic service center. What a damn hassle this is

Send those guys a call / email (the company under 'contact'), it should be within warranty and you should pay nothing but shipping cost.
If they're OK with it, then download, print off and fill out that repair form.

It doesn't cost too much too fix them outside warranty anyway. I've done this process before (and I'm sending them from New Zealand!).

Never talk to dealers unless you are returning something. Always go to the manufacturer's website and look for the support page. If you're lucky, they have a "live chat" option, which I think is the easiest and fastest of the three common ways (chat, phone, email) to get service.
