XFX 6870 (HD-687A-ZHFC) BIOS overvolt

So I recently bought a Accelero Twin Turbo II cooler for my card, however I'm not able to overvolt using MSI Afterburner. I've tried changing the config to allow unofficial overvolt/clock thingy. I was wondering if it would be possible to modify the BIOS voltage settings, and would the card keep that voltage if I overclocked with AB/CCC? If anyone has done this, please share how you did it and your OC settings.
Also, is there any simpler way to overvolt this card?

Thanks thumb.gif

not without doing a hardware modification to the card via soldering that is one reason xfx can offer a double lifetime warranty
