480/1480 was as high as i could go. 485 got artifacts, but i was a stock cooler and no volt mod. i'd let it go fairly cheap pm me if interested

I was almost set on a BFG6800XT for 115. new
or a 7600GT for 200. new.

I went for the 7600GS GDDR2 256MB for $120, and added $40 for the VF700. But that's over $150. If you want to pay $150 for a card then it'd be almost $200. You could get a nice 7800GS with $200.

6800XT is pretty much the same thing as the as the 6800LE which is worse than the 6600GT by a small margin

and the 6600GT is $70 cheaper depending on where you get it
