Messed Up My Headphones

So I was getting a crackling sound from my headphones and found out that it was a cable that was touching another cable but not before I re-soldered the four cables, which was not good. Now the headphones have no bass, sounds very weird and when listen to a talking audio, the sound is almost non existent. Can anyone please help me figure out where I went wrong. Thank you.

Sorry my camera stinks, that's the best I can do in terms of visual.

Right so what you want to do is desolder the two bottom wires. Then, take your cable and simply peel back some strands of copper until you have a think enough cable to solder to the driver (about 3 times as thick as the one that is on there now). Simple cut off the excess strands.

Then solder THAT to the driver.

I am going to guess that your cables is shorting itself when it moves around in the housing.

You might just want to scrap that wire all together and get some proper headphone wire and make life easy.

Well I tried your method and I was unsuccessful since it seems I am such a brute, while I was desoldering the copper wire I ended up ripping the connection off of the circuit board and so now the copper wire can't solder to anything. That upsets me because they weren't expensive headphones but I really liked them (JVC HARX700), I just hope I can fine a pair of these in the future that are modded and not to expensive. Thanks for trying to help me.

you want to ship it to me? so i can do the proper soldering for you? if you keep try to solder it for so many times you may damage the drive o even screwup the cooper pin's in the driver.

Yeah that's the thing, I think I ripped off those copper pins. Thanks for the help but I never shipped a thing in my life besides letters, so I wouldn't even know where to begin.

EDIT: What are a good pair of headphones that I can get for about $35, due to other things in my life, I cannot spend much. I wouldn't mind buying them from here, since this is where I bought my HARX and they were great but there is nothing within my range right now.

EDIT2: So I decided to buy a pair of Sennheiser HD 201, I heard good things, so I bought them.
