Decent price, especially without any MIR hassle.

I'm in for 3, as I believe these are just re-badged Hitachi's!

They are Hitachi and I've been running one for about a month. Had no issues and it's fast, quiet and cool running thumb.gif

In my opinion, yes. These re-badged Hitachi's are rock-solid, fast, and $85 for 2TB with no MIR hassle is sweet.

Just right after i grabbed a WD 10EZEX blue for 80 bucks for 1tb!!!!!!!!

Pretty sure these are the same I am running in my 18TB array... Just ordered 3 more... Getting low on space.

Off to check my NE order history to see if these are really the same ones now.

As far as I can tell (details and board trace look the same) these are the same 7200rpm Hitachi drives that I have been running for well over a year 24/7 with no issues. They should have no issues with RAID as they don't have the retarded 2min+ timeouts that the "Desktop" Western Digital drives do. (WD Red drives are good in RAID though)

$85 for 2TB with 64MB Cache and 6.GB/s is really good! Hate MIR.

Wish I had the extra cash for one of these! Nice Find!thumb.gif

These are pretty handily the best consumer drives for RAID applications. However, you don't want to mix them with your WD Reds.
