hi

i looking into buying another 2560x1440 monitor but this time im going for the cheap $400 ones and want to know if it be better to buy the one from microcenter or ebay?

Micro Center would make it easier to return it if you had issues. You can purchase an extended warranty from MC, and then if you have any issues, just take it right back to MC and get a replacement. eBay would require shipping it back if you had major issues. I have heard that the newer MC monitors actually have anti-glare coating, so you may want to check into that if you're specifically looking for glossy.

What model are you looking at? I would suggest getting on eBay and looking for Achieva Shimian's or Yamakasi Catleap's. While they may have a few dead or stuck pixels, you can't beat the price for them. Sure, mine has a cluster of dead (very small) but for what I paid, totally worth it.

If you need perfection (which is totally understandable), buying in store would help your odds.
