Sapphire 7950 Vapor - X Overclocking Guide?

I just ordered the 7950, and I'm pretty new to the world of overclocking. I always look at benchmarks but I have no clue what anything means. Like those games/videos people run for hours to test how stable the overclock is and everything. I've been downloading drivers and everything that I know will be needed and so far this is what I got.

- The new amd drivers - obviously
- MSI Afterburner (I've heard it's better than TriXX_
- gpuz
- And that's all lol.

Si any tips/guides/downloads would be helpful

You could use this guide here. Since you have a sapphire card, use the sapphire Trixx to o/c as AB seems to sometimes act funny.

Oh my, that's a lot of downloads. Thanks for the link though.

Let me know your results, i've had my Vapor-X for about two months and haven't done much overcloking outside of CCC. Depending on your results I might push my Vapor-X alot harder.

I found overclocking in the BOOST BIOS had higher gains and was stable at 1150/1350. However, if i want to overclock further I have to force constant voltages with TRIXX 4.6 and 1.3v is the limit. I have the 8 +8 pin and it is voltage locked except with forced constant voltage which I would rather not do.
