So im understanding that only the 7950 GX2 had 2 gpu's on it and the evga 7950 gtoc only has one.. the GX2's are extremely expensive and i dont want em.. so if i do pay aroun 300 give a take 10 bucks it will be beautiful right.. cuz i intend on one very soon.. and also will this paste work for my gfx card as well?? i am gonna order it tonight if so with my zalman 700.???

The 7950GT Is fine with just one Core. It will play all games fine out to date mate. The Only thing holding you back is your RAM mainly..I reccomend upgrading to atleast 1gb if not 2.

Link is bad.

If you are in the market for a new card.... you may want to look at this:

The 8800GTS are $130... but will perform twice as well as a 7950GT. In addition, it will support DX10 and the upcoming nVidia physics.

If you are ordering a new HSF... get the Zalman VF-900. Same price but much more peformance.
Once again...

7950GT and 7950GX2 are different cards

I have a 256 Mb 7950GT. It OWNS

Its bottlenecking my 2.8 GHz 4000 though!

Naw, it wouldn't really be too much of a bottleneck. Just turn up the 16xAA, 16xAS, and HDR. This should shift the system load to the card (and give you beautiful graphics). 8800GTS performance is about the same as a 7950GX2.
