$800 Dell XPS 14-3182sLV (i5-3317U + GT630m), or wait for an A10-5750m laptop?

I found the Dell laptop for $800 (originally priced at $1,150): http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/pd/Dell-XPS-14-3182sLV-Notebook/productID.256223300/vip.true?ClickID=cazqxwekesxq7peakliiqxqas47eqfezzzzk

The question is, do I buy it before the sale expires, or wait until back-to-school season for a Richland A10 laptop? If I buy the A10, I will undervolt it, assuming it's still compatible with PSCheck.

I am going to Southern Illinois University at Carbondale or University of Iowa for engineering, so battery life and weight is important. I also prefer at least 1600x900 resolution since using two Word documents at the same time on a 1366x768 screen is a pain.

I also plan on doing light gaming, TF2 and Total War Rome 2 (or Civ 5 with the One World expansion pack).

EDIT: I find the 32 GB SSD pitifully small. I'd much prefer at least 64-80 GB, though I've read that replacing the SSD in the XPS is difficult.

How much do you need a laptop right now?
If you can wait I say wait it out.
Intel Haswell and Richland APU's are both coming out.

The SSD in the XPS is for cache'ing not for OS. So its acting like a hybrid drive.
You can make it a full OS boot drive though if you want.
