Yeah a friend of mine has these. They're worth it at 40 but I'd be hesitant to pay 60. Nice deal.

There is an Ebay seller that has these refurbished for $29.99 and free shipping. I'm not going to post the ebay link but they are easy enough to find.

Of course, $40 for new is pretty solid as well.

Linky to a bass mod on these cans:

Just got them in, comfort is 10/10. Sound stage is about 7/10. Bass about 7/10. Instrument separation is very good. Well worth $40 imho!

Shoprunner ftw! Yea, they're great. These are the most expensive headphones I've ever purchased so it's like a new experience for me smile.gif

That's how it starts my friend.

Its taking everything I have not to get a pair myself. If I didn't have the Sennheiser 212 Pro's I would get them in a heartbeat. However, for me, the 212's are too similar to justify the purchase tongue.gif.

So I ordered these off of ebay as "refurbished" and they came like this:

Fully sealed, regular retail packaging! No mention anywhere that they are refurbs. So if the newegg price bounces back up again, ebay "refurb" is a good alternative for $30 shipped!

Btw, OP! Bump!
These are now $33.99 per the original link. Update this thread title, and bummer to those that paid $40 a few days ago!
