But, it did not physically touch anything else besides the VRM's. But, be careful with tightning it since it puts a LOT of pressure on the VRAM chips as well.

Thanks for your insight. It's great to hear other members chime in with there mods and input. I think shaving the spacers down .05 or 1mm is a great idea, I think I will still use fujipoly pads to separate the vrms with the plate, just to be safe. I may try to attempt to do this this weekend. Thanks again for your input.

hey guys can you please tell me the accellero xtreme 7970 cooler got 2 pin fan connector , 3 pin or 4 pin ?

can you guys control the fan speed in trixx or after burner ? i know it's quit even at 100% but this is important to me i want to know if it has 2 , 3 or 4 pin connector and can you control it's speed !

You can connect a 3 or 4 pin via adapter, and yes fan speed is adjustable.
