First part, skip the overclocking till you have this current issue nailed down.

Second part, did you confirm this happens with each card? Are we still under the premise that one of your slots is bad?

A test you can run is by enabling Overdrive and reducing the clocks as far as it will go. Then re-test C3 or x game, etc. Does it still crash?

It's happening with both cards, however if I try your last suggestion of enabling overdrive and lowering the clocks to 300/150, it doesn't crash. Obviously I get like 1fps, but the screen doesn't go black.

Ok, that's not good either. Do you have another psu to test with? Lowering the clocks isa psu test by reducing power draw.

I can borrow one but this doesn't make any sense... it's a brand new (couple months maybe, max) RMA replacement...

Could it be a bad lead or something like that perhaps?

Bad cables can cause power issues. Do you use any custom sleeved cables?

I do actually... two extensions on the 8pins. I'll take them out and try, see what happens.

Are you using a UPS (uninterruptible power supply)?

A UPS won't cause a problem other that the annoyance of the buzzing letting you know you overloaded the UPS. Ask me how I know lol...

I wasn't thinking it would cause a problem. He had one PSU die recently and he may have issues with his new one as well.

UPS units do more than act as just an emergency backup.

Might be worth just checking you haven't put both PSU cables on a single 20A PSU output rail.

If your local to blackpool, I have a spare 1250w PSU you could borrow just to rule it out mate.

No I'm not fella, just an AX1200 plugged into a surge protector, then my wall.

I've removed my sleeved extensions and the PC now runs games for a few minutes, but eventually does the same thing.

Thanks for the help dude - I'm using a Corsair AX1200. As far as I know you can plug the cables anywhere?

Edit: Does this seem odd at all? GPU1 on the left, GPU2 on the right.

Still looks like a power issue, heck it looks even more like one now.

What looks weird? If you mean the clock speeds they look right for an ulps disabled multi-monitor rig.
