I5 2500K @4,5Ghz and Nvidia 670/680

Hi
I want to change my phantom 570 with a 670 or a 680. Could the 2500k @ 4,5Ghz bottleneck those cards? As far as I know there isn't much difference with ivy bridge and i7 in games.
Thanks
Fedaykyn

No way. Even my i7 870 @ 3.8 - 4.0 GHz can utilize the GTX 670 fully over 90% of the time.
Your i5 2500K @ 4.5 GHz is a tad faster. your setup can even handle 680 SLI or 670 SLI if you want.

PCIE 3 won't be significantly faster than 2 in terms of performance. You'll be fine thumb.gif
