Alternative to the Logitech G710+

Thread Starter
I'm looking to get a mech keyboard and the G710+ seems like a good one. However, I'm not a fan of the orange macro keys and the different colored WASD and direction keys. Are there any similar alternatives to this keyboard because that is my only gripe with it?

I'm looking to get brown switches. Media controls, simple white LED backlighting like the G710+, just a few macro keys or none at all, and a single color key layout through the entire board. Thanks!

I picked up a customized X8 from Maxkeyboards

I personally had the leds customized to be different colors, but the standard one has a few different options.

Love typing on this board. My gf has a black widow ultimate and i hate using that board.

Looks like a great board, I like how it isn't so "flashy". I'm a sucker for dedicated media controls though. Any other recommendations?

Try the QPAD MK-85

Its nice keyboard. Drawbacks would be that it doesn't have dedicated media or macro buttons. Media are used with Fn button and macros are programmable. You can choose which Cherry MX switches you want with it though which is a good plus. Also you can choose whichever keyboard layout you want.

Ducky Shine II (you can get any switch & backlight combination you want) or possibly the CM Quickfire TK which comes with white backlighting if you choose cherry browns. thumb.gif
