Ok got my new graphics card. It ran good for about 5-8 hours. Now when i Boot my computer it does the Bios check beeps all good. Windows starts loading then about 4 seconds before i hear the Windows sound, (the 1 second music it plays when windows comes online) my monitor goes to sleep. and i cant get it to come out of it. i Reboot same ****. I unplug the new card plug into internal card all is well. re install the new card and plug monitor into it again asleep same spot. I reboot mess around in the bios settings for 5 mins seeing if it would go to sleep while in there but it never did. I leave bios settings go to load windows again exact same place, the monitor goes to sleep. any body have any ideas?
i bought a graphics card with 350+watts power requirements i see now i only have a 300 watt power supply unit so im pretty sure in posing this thread i have already found my problem lol. i will post what i have of each and all my cpu info
This is my Current power supply http://www.impactcomputers.com/hp-a3108f3p-rev-02.html
This is the Graphics card i bought
with 350 watt requirement
i have added a attachment with my notepad info of my DXdiag info of my cpu if that helps.
I am worried a may of already ruined my new graphics card. hopefully some one can point me to a good PSU if that is whats wrong. I am allso afraid my motherboard is maybe not working properly.
My last graphics card did the exact same thing same place. i thought it wore out-overheated but now that i have the new graphics card and same old stuff again i am more inclined to think its not the Graphics card or the mother board but maybe the power supply.
