I've been using a 2.5" hot swappable drive dock for a while now, and suddenly can no longer "remove Drive" using the "Safely Remove Media" option. Now only the HDDs on my Marvell SATA 6.0 controller show up here:

I've been using the Startech SAT2510U3REM :

Up until a week ago I had no problems. I noticed after doing a bios update and installing drivers (with a few weeks of a gap in using the drive), but reverting either does nothing to bring the option back. Any idea how to re-enable hot swap on my Intel AHCI?

Fixed: It was due to the newer drivers on ASUS website. The X79/C600 SATA AHCI Controller dissapeared from Device manager somehow. An image restore to the image made prior to updating those drivers (RISTe) brought everything back to normal.
