I'm booked solid. Two of my co-workers are off all weekend, so I couldn't escape if I wanted to.

Like wise, I don't have a day off till next Thursday.

That's too bad man, it seems so hard to let our wonder twin powers combine. biggrin.gif

Here I am starting to get all self conscious about my rig.
Not sure why I think anyone would laugh at my home depot bench, Wouldn't want folks from elsewhere seeing it in pictures and thinking we are a bunch of wooden computer hicks can we?

What you bench on matters not in the least....what matters is the numbers you punch out.

My goal is to get as close to 6 ghz with my 2500k as I can.. And learn how to overclock my new 3770k, because with that, I can do some serious damage in for the 8600 GT 256mb DDR3 category.. I just picked one up, and It does 800+ core ( 1 ghz validation ) Without issue.. Passively cooled ta boot wink.gif

Max multi for SB only takes a couple minutes to find.. hopefully yours does at least 55x multi.. and maybe 5.7ghz with bclk.. better would be just stellar.. but dont expect it. Vcore is no indication of potential with SB.

Thread Starter
SB does what it wants, even if it seems good on air or water cooling. Average max multi is 53x, anything better than that and you're a winner!!
