Wondering about my temps on 3770k watercooled

I got my rig set up with custom loop and wandering if my cpu is cooking a little hot on idle no overclock it runs at 29 degrees c. reason im asking i just put a rig together for my nephew which is cooled with h100i on a i5 3570k and idle it runs at 22 degrees c. i know there not the same cpus i just figured i would get better temps with my water loop then 29 degrees

Did you take the plastic off the water block when putting it on?

yes i took the plastic off i remember cleaning my waterblock before putting it on. the only thing i can think of is that maybe to much thermal paste even then i dont think if it comes down to it iguess ill have to check. - asus sabertooth z77 mb - intel 3770k overclocked to 4.5 - 32 gigs of corsair dominator ddr3 1600mhz - 2 x 680 sli d, overclocked editions evga graphics cards - 240 gig corsair ssd - creative soundblaster titanium champion edition sound card with corsair sp 2500 speaker system (lost hearing in left ear) - and to power all this fun stuff i went with corsair 1200 continuous spankin watts - i got all this hardware comfortably inside the cosmos 2 by coolermaster, which did not have a window so i put one in, i did get the aluminum laser cut by a professional. - Water cooling parts - Swiftech mcp655 pump - 1 360 swiftech rad, 1 240 swiftech rad - Koolance pump housing - ek 150 resevoir - swiftech apogee hd waterblock for the cpu - xspc razor gtx 680 waterblocks x 2 - bits power compression fittings and 45 degree and 90 degree elbows, i did get koolance quick disconnects with no drip for easy maintenance. - swiftech tubing 3/8 id 5/8 od

i got the cpu running at stock so it kicks itself to 3.9 i will put it back to 4.5 after i just installed intel 480 gbs ssd so did a clean install so i had to put my overclock back to default im just wandering if these are normal temps for this cpu with custom loop

sorry i read my post that i copyied and pasted some of the info isnt true due to a format i just done upon my install of a new ssd my cpu is not overclocked its running at stock which in that case it kicks itself up to 3.9 gigs im just checking if these are normal temps for a water loop

29C is within the norm i would think, its your load temps that matter anyway.

seems to be in the norm. What are your ambient temps anyway...I got same 3770k with temps of about 25 on stock idle with ambient 21 and 48 on load.

My idle temps are about 35-38. Load temps are approx 60. Idle temps don't mean jack mate smile.gif

my Ambient is 22 degrees on idle it is still 29 degrees @ 4.2 boost from the bios switch under full load its 4.2 ghz underload 100%.PNG 25k .PNG file
