Have a pretty good overclock on my 7970, but I want to push it further - how do I go past 1.3v?

OK, so I have an old school 7970 from before they became volt locked. I can do 1300/1950 at 1.3v, but I feel like there's more room still, if only I could feed it more juice. Temps never go above 60C/140F, so that's good too.
Going back to the voltage issue - what's out there that can do it? I've tried Sapphire TRIXX, and it's very good at getting me to the limits of 1.3v; ASUS GPU Tweak has had voltage adjustment removed from current versions, and older ones with support for it still included fail to load on my PC. mad.gif
What do you guy recommend?

Pretty sure you need a different bios and i have been looking for a few days now to try and find one that will work for the 7970, i have heard that lightnings and the dc2's can go past 1.3 with their bios but i dont think it will work with a reference card.

edit. forgot to mention you could hardmod the card.

So 1.3v is a hardware limitation?

Modded TriXX 4.4.0b will get you to 1.381v on the core.

Tho i would not run over 1.3V, even on water.

Too high? I thought these cards could handle voltage, and only temperature was a consideration (without going into extremes, that is). Unless 1.3+ is extreme...
