DVI-D (HDCP)

This is one of the connectors shown on the website for the Dell ST2420L monitor. I googled HDCP and read a few articles. From what I gather that for HDCP, both the source/Transmitter and the receiver should be HDCP compliant other wise the signal won't be transmitted.

I'm not interested in HDCP but am interested to know whether this monitor will work with a GTX-680 if connected through the DVI-D port? Will there be any problems?

That monitor will work perfectly with a GTX680 through DVI-D or DVI-I.

Recent monitors should all be HDCP compliant so your monitor should be fine through DVI or HDMI. smile.gif
