I have 4 Logitech mice that all still work - an original MX518, two G5's, and my G9x laughingsmiley.gif. Heck, I had a G11 keyboard that was 6-7 years old that only died recently after I spilled a cup of rum and coke on it.

Don't know why there is so much Logitech hate, their products work great and last forever thumb.gif.
Let's not neglect they've easily got the best customer support of the peripherals business. My G500 broke, I didn't have to ship it in first, didn't even have to cross ship it, they just sent me a new one and left me the old one to fix on my own if I so desire (and I will, soon™).

Very overpriced for what you could get from:

Mice: Razer, SteelSeries
Keyboard: Das, Filco, Ducky

Especially the keyboards... no G series mousepads eh?

I know there's room for improvement but sadly I'm losing hope fast that Logitech is willing to work on the G9x.

*fistshakes at Logitech*

I got sick of waiting. Been using a G9, and more recently a G9x since launch. You should give the Coolermaster Storm Spawn a go. Its a lot better than the G9x in many ways. Its a lot lighter, and way more comfortable.

Are you saying Razer are not overpriced?

I've always had good luck with Logitech gear, from hardware to software. I rather like the software for my G400 and G710+. It's not cumbersome at all, it's easy, and seemingly lightweight. I found Razer software to be the polar opposite. Not crazy about the mice refresh but everything else looks pretty good.

Depends which product you're talking about. Not all of them have great reliability.

Interest to see if the G19s has anything over the current G19, and same with the G500s over the current G500 over than looks.

If not looks like i wont be getting anything new.

I was fully expecting a G13 update to compete with the Orbweaver, but with brown switches.

As for the mice and keyboards, they took the existing line and made it uglier. The price point for the G19S is ridiculous when you consider the G710+ retails for $50 less and is regularly on sale for $100. Not to mention all the other mechanical keyboards on the market. Almost makes the Deathstalker's price seem reasonable.

You guys are forgetting these prices are MSRP.

I guess Logitech decided not to jump on the mechanical keyboard bandwagon and make their new keyboards mechanical. The mice look the same with just a new coat of paint, but man those buttons look gawdy.

The g500/g700s might finally get me to go back to logitech mice. My g7 to this day is still one of my favourite mice. It was just shaped perfect for me. As somebody else mentioned their customer service was impeccable. I was having trouble charging my mouse and they just sent me a new one.
