They did the same thing over their knee jerk reaction regarding www.ngohq.com and their how to articles on the Physx Mod. H ppl complained about the their AV getting triggered since you know ppl rarely read the readme or hell even the threads completely. Anyways H came down hard on ngohq, saying stuff like we take this seriously, like it was a real threat lmao. It's a false positive because it's a driver hack lol. Anyways, ppl got banned and access blocked for questioning H's actions, or hell even pointing out that it was a false positive. But really, how are you a part of this community and not know about the physx mod?

Still surprising that AMD loses so badly at this game with their own tech on. I'd expect this from the likes of a TWIMTBP title with physX but this is a GE title and it loses by 30% in some cases. I still think [H] is a legit site and this is an issue from AMDs end.

I dont think the game being GE title means anything. They dont cripple performance for Nvidia cards. Not sure about TWIMTBP but as far as i know most of them have been using PhysX. I dont think TWIMTBP is a big as it used to be since Nvidia want PhysX in all of them.

AMD will release a driver that equals or beats the Nvidia numbers soon enough.

As for an intentional delay, the AMD TR benchmark guide was done on March 2. Here we are 19 days later and the numbers are no longer correct. It would appear that if Nvidia had the game sooner, AMD's guide would have been a PR nightmare as it would have been all wrong.

When either camp does this (Nvidia has in the past) the only one that suffers is us, the user.

I'm getting an average of 42.3fps at anisotropic 16x, tressfx, 2x ssaa and ultra for the texture quality.

It is totally playable, I don't know why so many people are complaining about the fps?

FFXA = 60fps+ with a single 7970. I really dont see the need for better AA in all these recent titles, they all look gorgeous without it.

I dont like TressFX at all though.
1.) Frames get to low on close up's of Lara's head
2.) Her pony tail frequently disappears while playing with TressFX on

AMD please fix the disappearing pony tail frown.gif.

Thread Starter
i would not be surprised if hardocp's tombraider GTX 680 perf numbers change. the perf gap between GTX 680 and GTX 670 is just not logical.

anymore tweaking left in the drivers going from Beta to Official, or just the Certification from MS.?
