If you mean how can you make many people connect in that is what the above does

I don't want to have to use the same IP just to play my games (my private network has DHCP). All I want is what a normal router does, but on linux, route from one to another but don't secure it so tight like a bank vault that I can't even play my games.

I don't know what your saying.

Lets say I have a normal off the shelf router right? I plug in my pc, it routes traffic, I play my games regardless of my ip, whatever. I want to do that but on linux, that's it.

I think he wants to do "many-to-one NAT" (PAT). That's what consumer-grade routers do out of the box. I don't know anything about iptables...so, I can't really help on how to make that happen.

So you want to connect from the insde network to the outside network? You should be able to do this if you are browsing the web

Then just reverse the rule if its what you want

iptables -A FORWARD -p tcp -i eth1 -o eth0 -j ACCEPT

echo 1 > /proc/net/ipv4_forward

It would be easier if you priovide a mini network map thing and draw on t what you want ;D

do you have something like

router > debian box > pc?

And your wanting to play online games from the pc?

(http://forum.codecall.net/topic/48438-configuring-your-linux-server-as-a-router/#sthash.Osuzqe62.dpbs < theres how you set it up as a router if its really what you want :s)
