I think when I pushed it I got 1250 core with the reference cooler and stock voltage. Now that I changed the cooler to an Accelero Xtreme I could probably go higher. Honestly though, 1080p with crossfire 7970 is kind of overkill so I stick around at 1125/1575 tongue.gif.

Edit: Sapphire Toxic 6gb if I had the money for multiple monitor setup

No the MSI 7970's are about same price as my 680"s guys, i have the MSI twin Frozr awsome and cool cards, but my vote goes for AMD 7970 its freaking amazing cards

Those are benchiable clocks..
But she is a gem and with proper cooling it will do high clocks at very low voltages... i have 2 settings for her 1200/1600 and 1300/2000 24/7 clocks..
But now i have her crossfired with an another beast which is a 7950, i stick her to 1200/1600 for everyday use with very low voltage needed..

With a voltage of 1.22v (non vdroop) she can do 1275/2000 easy... GHz bios default voltage is 1.25v..

Is a win win situation less voltage required more cool my 7970 temps are going to be..

Yeah I say Sapphire as well:

SAPPHIRE 100351SR Radeon HD 7970 3GB

This one is not voltage locked and has a better cooler than the PCS and is cheaper to boot! it also performs like a champ!

really so better then the MSI and powercolor u think? as far as OCing?
OCing for all the cards really is a silicon lottery. Some cards that are really guaranteed at least to be binned are the Toxic edition from Sapphire and the Lightning Series from MSI if I'm not mistaken.

The reason I pick Sapphire is because it has a better cooler than what the PE edition from MSI and Powercolor (cooling to noise level). Plus the fact that almost all sapphire owners really do have a good experience OCing their cards. Add to that the value/ price of the cards they offer and it's really tough to beat.
