Can you liquid cool, and What fan size in an NZXT Phantom
post #2 of 2
Yup! you can water cool in an NZXT phantom! it is actually designed to support watercooling. I have the original phantom, and the newer ones (the 630 and the 820) support even more watercooling capabilities.

My phantom comes with brackets to support a dual 120 mm (240mm) radiator at the top.

There are plenty of fans that you can put in the phantom (again im talking about the original phantom, the newer ones have even more), you can put a 140mm in the front, a 120 on the back, either a 200 or 230 on the side, and you can fit 2 200mm fans on the topand it even comes with a bracket to lower your radiator if you want to fit 2x 200mm fans up top.

A great resource here on OCN for the phantom case is here.

it provides plenty of guides on watercooling and what kits work great with it, and plenty of other info on the case. They even provide mods that other members have done to their phantoms.

Enjoy!
