Is it really worth investing in a Socket FM1 PC?

The GTX 650 (1 pci-e power connector) may be better depending on if you run CUDA requiring applications but the best card you can get without knowing your power supply is the HD 7750.

Last I checked the 2GB GTX 650 runs about $130-140 , which is really expensive for a mid-low end card and the HD7750 2GB runs about $90-100.

None are a good value when the HD 7770 is running $95 or so after rebates. ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202011 ). The extra VRAM won't be that useful if it's bottlenecked by a 128-bit memory bus.

If you can sell the $100 or so worth of games for $50+ from the HD 7850/HD 7870 it'd be cheaper & faster than the above.

Thank you very much!!
I was thinking about the Radeon and It is my main option, but I live in Mexico and is very expensive to get these cards here, so I am going next week to California and I need to know any other option in case I can't get the Radeon. My priority will be 7750, 550Ti, 650 and finally 640.
Hope i can get the 7750 because I don´t really need CUDA processing or PhysX enhanced card. It will be just for moderate gaming, because I don´t care a lot about FPS and having everything in Max Settings.
My power supply is 300watts but if I need an upgrade it's easy to get a cheap and good power supply of 500watts in here.

Have a nice day smile.gif
P.S. Anandtech is a cool site I will save for future comparison.

You might want to take a look at the new Radeon HD 7790 as well. Here's a review of it...
