someone hacked into my origin account ( i think ) i keep getting a message saying that my account is in use click ok to close.

so i close and try to log in and my password has been changed. (i tried every combo i would use) so i emailed EA. nothing back yet

but i also run a packed sniffer and nothing has came through as a ip that isnt on my network.

is there any other way to look of an iIP address that shouldnt belong?

Hate to break it to you, but if it *has* been compromised, you've probably got a keylogger or some other type of malicious spyware on your computer. Better crank up an anti-virus!

Thanks for the reply!

But for the most part I think my computer is pretty safe firewall/anti virus wise.

I suppose to be safe I have little to nothing important on my rig at this time so ill do a fresh OS install tomorrow

It could be a key logger, (hardware or software), there are a number of ways they could've gotten your information. Do you remember logging into any sites with your origin info recently? I know it sounds like a question that you would obviously have thought about, but when I lost my steam account a year or so back. I didn't think about it right away...until I checked my browsing history. I was phished, but this may not be your case. Are you on Wifi or Unsecured Wifi? Have any computer savvy relatives who would like to play a prank on you? Do you use the same password for everything?

The prank thing crossed my mind but none of my friends know how to check email let-alone hack any of my accounts.

I ordered/itnstalled the new sim city the other day so I'm guessing that's where this started from.

And my rig is not on wifi but there are 4 smartphones/2 laptops and a server (I know but it doesn't deal. With any big files) that are on wifi
