MSI MPOWER Z77 need Assistance

hello, I just upgraded my system from 3930k & X79 to i3770k & mPOWER Z77. I am running into an issue which I am unable to find an answer for and require assistance from you experts.

My mainboard is running latest BIOS (v 17.7 ). CPU is i3770k sitting MPOWER Z77 from MSI. Be advised that nothing is Overclocked and mainboard is loaded with default Settings. No overclocking what-so ever. The problem is with AUTO Voltage Settings. At default Settings when I run PRIME 95 and stress the CPU ( 3.9Ghz ) the Default Voltage shown at CPU-Z is 1.24v . And when CPU Idles at 1.6Ghz and voltage drops to around 1.0xx.

So my concern is why CPU runs at very high voltage of 1.24v. Shouldn't it be running way below that voltage at default settings ? Also When I set the voltage to 1.05 the CPU runs perfectly fine with this voltage but then, CPU refuse to go to IDLE state even with all GREEN POWER options turned on in BIOS. So I am stuck its either Set the Voltage to AUTO and be stuck with very high voltage (not even overclocked) or Set it to manual voltage and CPU refuse to go to idle state.

What Am I a suppose to do with the BIOS, or is the mainboard designed in such way. I do not plan to overclock but I want the CPU voltage to remain low.

Same here, the problem I have is at AUTO voltage CPU is at 1.24v. I think M/B is supplying way higher voltage then needed for stock CPU.

I picked up this same board back in December and I'm looking to pick up a ROG board soon. I am not happy at all with this board.
