If I remember tonight I'll take a peek at what I run at. It will at least give you more information to narrow down the cause of your game crashing.

Just throwing ideas out there now. Is the crash happening only with Skyrim? Maybe one of your RAM modules are failing...

I'll appreciate your result smile.gif

the crash only happens to skyrim (got some dececent tex pack to make skyrim actually look good than rather like a living low res paiting)

I dont think it's the ram that's failing since many other programs can use up to 8-10gb ram (like minecraft)

I've never really thought about it, but my Skyrim game crashes usually after some prolonged use. I'm gonna monitor my task manager and see if I have a similar issue. I've always thought it was a more graphics related problem, but I could be having the same problem. I'll check soon and see. thumb.gif

Do you mind listing your mods? I use the lite version of Skyrim HD 2k. I used to use the full version when I played at 1080p, but having moved up to 1440p I notice considerable stutter.

I don't know if you have figured out what is wrong with your game but I was finally able to get some screen shots of my RAM usage while playing Skyrim.

Here is my RAM usage and my VRAM usage.

And here are the mods that I'm currently using.
