Rockets to the front do very little damage, and shooting from off-angle can result in damage being reduced to nearly half.

Except we all use smoke now, which reloads faster than the jav's so unless you have a team of dudes w/ javs (which is rarely the case since I haven't spent a single night on BF3 where there was actually people working together) - this is a moot point.

That's the propeller from the RHIB Boat

I can't imagine how the hell they will make naval warfare fast paced and exciting enough for a FPS game.

Right, most of us know that tanks are more armored in front, so the smart thing to do is shoot it in the rear where it is the most vulnerable...

No. There's an Engineer that you arn't seeing. I shoot RPG's at tanks in the rear and usually get a disable with 1 rocket and then a 2nd rocket will either destroy it or it will be completely in flames and blows up a few seconds afterwards if an Engineer doesn't repair it.

I am pretty sure this was the case for me in BF3 as well...I think some times I could put a third into it, but it would be burning pretty good by then and basically a waste of ammo.

As for repairing it...I am pretty sure I was repairing through a full barrage from one person...even with one hit to the rear you could typically save the tank. if the driver doesn't get it turned around and another round goes up the poop chute it would be a goner though. Really I think people should get six rounds for the anti tank weapons. Then it wouldn't be possible to repair though it. Though if people were working together LIKE THEY SHOULD BE you'd likely have an ammo crate so maybe people should only get three rounds.

Naval battles are some of the best parts of BF1942.

Wonder how they will turn out in BF4...
