just wanted to tell you guys that i have finally built my server
I use windows server 2012 datacenter for my host, student perk lol. I use mezzmo media server to stream to my father old bluray player, really easy to set it up. I had a hard time finding one that could be detected on his player. Now i have fun discovering other stuff like AD, exchange ... using hyper-v.
I have one question : if i set it up to shutdown each night and reboot in the morning, will this affect the health of the raid? or os ?

- perc 5i ( for raid 10 like tycoonbob suggested

- Fractal Design Define R4
- Corsair CX Series CX500
