Hello there,

Just registred here for some pro opinions smile.gif

Would like to buy some silent fans for my antec 300 case , but can't decide what to take.
Need to be quiet as hell because I just became a father smile.gif

Thanks in advance for the advices !

Noctua fans suck and have laughably overrated specifications. Just get something like Nexus Real Silents, they are a third of the price and perform just as well/better (silentpcreview.)

Was looking at the nexus fans earlyer and thought about the money. Don't know much about fans, pc's in general , just thought if everybody are pro with the noctua ... their the best.

I can't compare the noiseblocker to the noctua since i haven't used any noctuas. But I do have a noiseblocker multiframe m12p in my gaming rig, thats a 120mm pwm fan with a max speed of 2000 rpm. Imho, that thing is very quiet. Other case fans I've used from silverstone and slipstream are quite a bit louder at slower speeds. I think their eloop fans are better suited for mounting on a radiator. Sample size of one, but i'm a noiseblocker fan.

got 3 nocts... can't hear them at any speed... it's weird to hear the wind blow, but no fan noise. very odd.

Glad to hear it. I definitely would recommend Noctua over (almost) anything else available on the market today, if you want great cooling at low noise levels.
