[PROJECT] Retro TV Lan Build (80's TV reinvented)

RETRO TV LAN GAMER

{Intro}
Recently I have been envious of all the epic case mods on here using old game consoles and other other old electronics. I have tried to mod cases in the past, but lost interest because it had all been done before, originality makes things cool. I had been looking around for the perfect thing to mod and today I hit the jackpot.

{The Idea}
I have a PC at home that I game on and what not, but it can't be moved easily due to it being watercooled and massive. This would be the exact opposite, a small compact pc with the monitor built in to it that can be moved any where and only requires power to use. I am going to use an ITX setup with a dedicated GPU, nothing over the top, just parts that will give me casual gaming capabilities.

Today I went to my local GoodWill and bought this baby for $1. Its a Hitachi TV from 1982.

When I saw it I knew it would be amazing for a Lan PC. Its got a handle on the top and hopefully I can find a LCD to put in the front and make it an all in one. Before I can do anything though, I needed to gut it.

I didn't take any pictures while I tore it apart, I needed to concentrate to keep from being shocked and dying, but after some careful cutting and shaking it all came apart leaving me with a spacious shell to work with.

Just to give you guys an idea of how much space I have to work with, here is a m-atx board and a 8800 GT inside of it with room to spare!

More to come soon!
