So, I had to downgrade to Windows 7. Why? Well...Minecraft constantly crashed on 8. On 7, it's dandy.
Now that we have that out of the way. Check out my specs below. There are great. Zero reason for lag in aero.
If I'm doing something like watching a youtube video (not even HD, it does it regardless), I notice "FPS lag" in Windows aero. If I switch tabs in my browser or even just pause the video, it's fine and back to normal. Likewise, if I watch a youtube video and then start moving a window around or maximus/minimize a window, there's FPS lag on the video itself as well.
I have a GREAT PC...and I don't want to get rid of animations. Any ideas?
Oh, and spare the obvious:P My drivers are all up to date, I have all updates, I have TONS of RAM available etc.
