So,help me OCN. The battlefield 4 site just popped up, and i thought, why not have that extra 1 gb of ddr5 for new games like bf4, or the new witcher, or anything else.

I thought i was deadlocked on the hd7870, but the 1gb of extra ram is just too good to pass up.

Help me pull the trigger.

Do it man! With one 7950 overclocked I can run BF3 on Ultra with 4x MSAA with 55-60fps at all times. I would suggest the MSI TFIII 7950 my friend. Amazing card. Got mine to 1200/1600 on air. The shroud around the fans is metal and engraved and is really high quality unlike most other cards that have plastic shrouds with stickers ( like my Sapphire Dual-x 7950). Also, a 3 year warranty is a nice touch! Do it!

go for the HD 7950 boost. how many amps does your psu provide on +12v rail. if it provides 36A or more then you are safe with an overclocked HD 7950.

You understand the extra 1gig of ram isn't going to do crap for you when those games are released right? The performance of the card is already struggling with games like crysis on ultra and the vram doesn't do much to help it there.

I JUST went 7950 and it was the best jump i've made

I too game at 1080p, but if you eventually plan on going 1440p, might as well.
