Why don't you just save up a little more money and get a z77 board. You aren't going to be satisfied in a couple months when you realize you could have gotten better. Just my 2cents.gif

Whats the price difference for you between 3770k and 2700k. The difference is minimal, you could always get a 2700k if your budget is tight.

At the budget OP delineated, there's not much quality to be had regardless of manufacturer.

Actually, I take that back. The Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H is on sale for 69 quid, and would be a much better choice.

will the Asus P8Z77-V LX that i listed earlier be any good? its 25 over my budget but i think i can deal with that.
