the 2700k is £18 cheaper than the 3770k.

weirdly the 2600k is more expensive than the 2700k on amazon :s

I prefer ASUS too but I dont mind as long as I can overclock on either of them!

I was still over budget, but I knocked my RAM down from 8gb 1600MHZ to 4GB 1600MHZ. ill upgrade to 8GB in the future 4GB is enough ..... for now.

I personally think 4GB is still enough, but its only temporary i want this system to be quite future proof.

4GB really isn't enough. Go for 4x2. 4GB is at best enough for mere gaming and mere web browsing. I get 20% memory usage on my 16GB just browsing tongue.gif
