The charts they posted show the highest playable settings, them the post am apples to apples.

More food for thought. Why did we all wait for bf3 benchmarks? We post benchmarks ALL the time that's taken from pure gameplay. Some benchmarks are even from multiplayer!

Taking a random 5 second interval of gameplay and saying that's the benchmark would be questionable because it could be the outlier. But they did 7-8 minutes!

Point is it is not consistent.

I love games that have benchmark mode as results are more useful and consistent when comparing.

Just like crysis 1, street fighter and many other games with benchmark mode.

Did my own benchmark on the sky shipwreck..

1080P/everything to the max with tressfx on... Even ultra shadows on the new patch with 2xssaa

so is this as good as it gets for tomb raider FPS performance or will there be more updates later? i'm still holding on for a glimpse hope of playing tomb raider with around a constant 100fps for my 120hz monitor.
