Yeah, I know smile.gif
Here's the guide if you didn't already have it.
https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:HCLSjeDavmsJ:arctic.ac/fileadmin/att2/manual_en.pdf+&hl=en&gl=us&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEESgABWPyg4oSOfvEZn0YUFWSKZjfFkQmIIPPeN-tObwcv25WzAo74jDVCkYBoPWnCE9rzGgjwxUu5YMPYmCxB12ZUte8-N33DGBHmn1dpV2_XwvOAkJnVY4ZeY4VM1tq3PlNUS_j&sig=AHIEtbQ0YQo0Uybmw-6DV1_no1Qf9KA6tw

Remember, after you take off all the screws, pull the PCB away from the cooler gently. There's still the fan connector that has to be detached in order for you to move on with the next step. One more thing you may like to know.... Don't sandwhich 2 of these together because it'll make the first card extremely hot. That's about all I have to say smile.gif Good luck with your installation thumb.gif

the cooler is here and looks like everything is okay the vrm temps did not change really. i check my vrm temps by putting my fingers on the back part to feel the heat. and the cooler is perfect went from doing960/1450 with an idle of 36C to now 31C and load was for old cooler 69C to 53C now im doing 1000/1475 with an idle of 32C and a load of 54C the game with the load was far cry 3. now to wait for the thermal pads to get here to see if the heatsinks for the vrm will make any difference. and i want to find another 6950 and unlock it to 6870 or buy a 6970.

I'm back again LOL....

This is the best, there's smaller variations of it, but I believe this has the highest conductivity... You can go the cheap route and get the one I linked you on ebay before.....

Lastly, this is the 2nd one I recommend besides the ebay one....

Also, those heatsinks should work fine for your card. Not sure why you feel uncomfortable.
