so i found this one on sale for one day watta u guys think of this one........

www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX35800

is that a good monitor?
is it a good sale price?

at that resolution will my rig have a tough time running BF3 at wat i used to?

at this point on a 1080p im running.......

low bout 65-85s
mid bout 85-100s
max bout 100-130s or more at points

if the korean monitors at that reso. are still a better price then that could someone send me a link to where i can browse and buy?

Im also guessing this a 60hz monitor since it doesnt state if its 120hz?

Thanks

that is an good monitor but if i planning to use it for gaming, there is no substitute for the one i have, its simply the best monitor u can buy these days.

Especially for that price.

So if u want a good monitor for gaming and with very nice colors with nvidia 3D vision? get the Asus VG248QE

Haha no offense but LG makes great screens but for gaming the IPS screens are simply not fast enough the screen is all over the place and it is slow at gaming extreme ghosting and tearing

i know because i saw it myself. IPS is great if you do only video or watch movies and such but for gaming it is not an good option. than 150 is expensive because you are not happy but when you pay 250 for the Asus screen and you are happy than money well spend because you're happy and that's all there is to it buddy.

IPS screens are 100% fine for gaming. There's hundreds of people here on OCN who use Korean IPS monitors, Dells, LG and have no problem with them. I personally use a 1440p IPS monitor and it's just as responsive as my old TN panel. The only exception to this is if you are a competitive gamer and want high refresh rates and the lowest input lag possible, then you'd have to get a 120Hz/144Hz TN.

LG make cheaper products, not like Dell, Eizo, Asus ProArt or Samsung, so plastic toy with hard coating.
i had ips226v and ghosting is evident, the ips4 lineup is even more cheaper..........

IPS can be fine for games but not the LG lineup, its just a toy rolleyes.gif

The panels in equivalent Dell, LG and many other manufacturers monitors are made by LG, so I don't get your logic. Their build quality is also fine.

Well i don't know what games you all play than but i had samsung syncmaster with 2ms screen and my nephew had iilmaya both with 2ms screen and both were 85 hz and we have the same video card and both we get very bad image and the colors are the worst i ever seen on a screen and the ghosting and tearing is terrible and those were over 200 euro screens and u are telling me that an IPS screen of 5ms is good for gaming?

I don't think so, i saw it myself and if u play Crysis 3 on it it is pretty much unplayable because of the ghosting and i get more than 60 fps so its definitely the screen and where i bought the screen said so as well that IPS screens are not good for gaming and if u don't belive me go look for urself on the internet and you will see that IPS screens are great with pictures and colors but bad at gaming.
